A pair of nightsands I made for my daughter. They are red oak ply for the body with solid red oak for the tops and faces of the drawers. Soft close slides for the drawers. I used an expresso minwax stain and semi gloss poly for the finish.

Nice job. Small suggestion: I would run the grain on the sides vertically rather than horizontally. As a general rule, the grain wraps around the piece in that way. Of course, rules were made to be broken.
