Cherry dresser with laser engravings

After one year and four months this piece is so close to being finished I am posting it!

Still need to move the drawer slides back some 5mm, as the pretension of the push-to-open mechanism made them protrude a little. Dust cover in the back missing, as well as small supports for the three lowest drawer fronts to prevent possible cupping.

Any more details on your lasering process?

Most won’t care, but being a laser tragic, I am open to all information.

Eg. Any depth to the engraving or is it just surface “charred”?

Quite amazing indeed. And such persistence on keeping at it for that amount of time.

-- The smell of wood, coffee in the cup, the wife let's me do my thing, the lake is peaceful.
