I used pine for the carving and then applied Bronze Powder Metal Coating to give it the “Cast” look.

Nicely done. Did you use the same powder used for cold casting? Any kind of sealer to keep it from rubbing off?

I first prime the wood with a gray primer from a rattle can, then I mix a 350 mesh powdered metal, 3 to 1 ratio to resin. I then spray it on using a 2.3mm nozzle Gravity Feed Spray Gun. After the resin has set, I sand it off using steel wool and a fine wire brush. Fiberglass resin is a little thick, so if using that, slightly thin it with acetone.
