My first bandsaw box (that I am proud of). Lacewood and walnut.
Who knew there would be soooo much sanding!

Yea, those bandsaw boxes really do take quite a bit of sanding, don’t they.

I love making bandsaw boxes but the level of sanding is a commitment! I finally started designing the curves around what would fit on my spindle sander.

I love your lumber combination and may have to copy it. Great design

I’m using a 3/16” hook tooth 10TPI, which I’m not too happy with. Because it’s a hook tooth it takes too much out of the joint and because it’s a 10TPI it struggles on deep boxes (although I love the smoothness of the cut). I just ordered a 3/16” skip tooth with 6 TPI. I’ll let you know if I like it.
