Ive been carving this for roughly 9 months. Every time i think im done with it i decide to add more. I have a passion for eagles and a lot of my work reflects that.
This was carved from one piece of driftwood. Its roughly 44” wing tip to wing tip. Im going to add more photos of the beginning, during etc but need to change the sizes. I also have intentions on dragging it to the beach for the final presentation photos. I hope you all enjoy it

That looks good now. I’m sure it will be more impressive when you yourself are satisfied.
I’ve watched woodcarvers working away. I’m always amazed at how you know what to cut away and what to leave.
On a good day i can manage a fair to middlen pointy stick at best.
Hats off to you.
