I finished this up yesterday. This item was a first for me and is my take of several things I’ve seen online. It was also my first time using Ambrosia Maple. Those beetles shure do make some beautiful wood.

Yes, they stay put pretty well. I sized the slot for the thin part of the stem and I also chamfered the hole. You have to lift up on the glass before sliding it out.
