The Mommy’s Little Helper Step Stool has grow with me adjustable steps. I used 1/2″ Baltic Birch and 3/4″ Birch steps. The safety bar is designed to stay in place when your child is on the stool. The graphic was transferred to the wood with graphite paper and then burned by hand.

I has made some alternative ideas for the safety bar too (not shown). I thought that perhaps the child might figure out how to lift the bar out so I added a knob on either side of the bar to lock it into place.

The graphic step in this photo is made of red oak…not birch.

Smart using Plywood, I made one from 1” Oak, at least the Kids couldn’t move it around:)
