Nice choice of woods for that…I like the color…
You have a lot of great little and not so little projects…very nice looking wood for them…Good eye and creativity…
Your wife is very creative also, you seem to make a great union of creativity…

I used Minwax Fast-Drying Polyurethane (https://www.minwax.com/wood-products/clear-protective-finishes/interior/minwax-fastdrying-polyurethane).
Spectraply is very thirsty—the first two coats did almost nothing. It’s a total of six coats.
