My wife picked up an old painted table and wanted it turned into an Entry Bench. It turned out to be made of Pine the beetles had turned blue. Made to her specs. She finished the bottom with stain and the top with Poly. Got to use my Kreg jig on this one.

So going into furniture building now? Next thing you know you are going to get some chisels and hand planes:)
Real wood workers don’t use screws:)

Sleek bench John. Very nice with the stained bottom. I like the character that comes fro the beetle pine.
