Decided to make myself a drill caddy with the scrap wood left over from my work bench build. It’s nothing fancy, and the dimensions were totally dictated by what I had laying around the garage. Heck, I even used scrap to make a scrap to make a scrap wood holder (not picture worthy), lol. Having completed it. I love how it functions and will more than likely build a better, more detailed one for the future.

Being new to wood working, I am slowly seeing where my skill set is vs. where I want it to be. For instance I have this beautiful new bottle of titebond glue and have yet to use it on a single project yet. Even though all the videos I watch use it judiciously, lol. So patience is something I have to build up to.

Many of my storage solutions started with digging through my scrap bin. I also have many things that I have done “until I can make a better one” that I am still using years later because they are doing the job just fine.

Your drill caddy looks great and I am sure will serve you well.
