Some more Boxelder bowls.

A few got pretty dry so they weren’t the prettiest when finished. Not sure if I should have just kept sanding or what.

I think I have two more to go from this tree. While they dry I have a couple black walnut logs I’m turning down.

I like character and the first one sure has it.
Great bowl. Shame about the last of the boxelder because it looks like it was a blast to turn.
Keep it up.

MrWolfe I agree the first one is cool. I have quite a bit more Boxelder in the woods. It has been fun to turn.

Thank you Eric. I’m partial to the second one. I should be putting them up separate so I can get more pictures of the funky stuff going on with these bowls.

Thanks Les, it is fun seeing how they turn out.

Boxelder and bowls go together well. It’s a great wood and you’re doing it proud. You’re right about more sanding, it will remove more blemishes and bring out the color.
