This night stand was built around 8 years ago to. Needed a small night stand to fit the room at the time. Made of pine, 18” x 14” x 28” (H), box joint drawer with 1/4” ply bottom. Tried to make the feet match the furniture in the room, at least close.

Thanks for viewing.

Thanks Pottz, the furniture has curved detail for the feet, so I played with the curves to see what would look best.

They are old projects, but I never seem anything about not posting.

That is true, this site is for us to share our work, get ideas, help folks out, and maybe bust on a few in good nature.

I have found this to be a good site all around. A great bunch of folks. So much better than those other social sites.

Nice table, great build, love the feet, very cool. That’s a little too white for me, but it’s up to you…

Very classy, looks like it’s come from a upmarket retail store. Top marks!

Thanks Jack,
Thanks Peter,
I took a closer look at the furniture, the bed post has the same type of shape for the feet, Those post are 4×4. So this is scaled down just a bit.

Looks awesome.

I’m curious how you did the legs. Especially the bottom part. Did each leg start out as one long piece of wood or did you cut out the shape of the bottom and somehow join it to the rest of the leg?

Thanks Zvonko,
Since the finished project was going to be painted, I added stock to the bottom for the flared out section.

That’s really cool. Those legs must have taken som planning. Band Saw?

They look like my ankles after a few Wild Turkey bourbons.

My wife ask me if I need anything. She was at Sprouts and I said some Wild Turkey 101 she looked and said they don’t have any Wild Ass Turkey!

Thanks James,
Yes used a band saw, and drum sander. Many sketches too.

Sounds like your better half has your number, been there before. And yes I like my bourbon too.
