My First End Grain Cutting Board

Thanks for all the wonderful tips and suggestions I received during the planning and making of my first end grain cutting board. It is made from 8/4 cherry, purple heart and maple. It was a fun experience with a couple of hiccups along the way, but nothing I couldn’t fix.

Nice job…now you have the bug! I bet you are thinking about getting a drum sander!

Thanks for the kind words. And yes, a drum sander would be awesome. Along with a 15” planer, an 8” jointer ad infinitum…....Now to wrangle up some customers.
