Budget conscious? This is my response. Seven parts total, body cut from a 2×4 framing stud, wheels snugged onto 1/4” dowels, no glue necessary. As for wheels, these are oak. I’ve since moved on to poplar or walnut, which are easier to mill without a lot of random splintering.
