That’s awesome Andre! Such a cool idea to put his name as the title. Beautiful design with the arched frame on the cover :-)

Looks great Andre! I especially like the cover and the grain in the main front piece. Can you talk a little about how you made that? Is it curly maple? Is it two pieces? I love the way it looks almost like flames that sort of fan out. Nice work!

Nice, Andre! I’m sure the parents were thrilled, and the one year old wanted to chew on it. ;-)

Bill, original plan was to use the White Wenge for the front panel but just didn’t look right, digging through some scrap cut offs found this piece of Maple, after re sawing to book match found the flame, so one of those times when the wood calls out:) I think of it as the Tree of Life! well at least a Little Bush?

Dave, Box will be delivered on his Birthday, pretty sure there will be no teeth marks:)

Thanks for all the great comments, even the Wife thinks my skills are improving:) Slightly?

It reminds me of a book. Nice wood and execution. How did you carve the crown on the top?
