Very simple and most customizable. Many clamps work best on only one support. Some are slippery and require 2.
I built a few like last picture (long time ago) you see alot of, but most of the time I find it just wastes space.
When you have a mashup of clamps I like the single support best.

it’s ok if your in training,but when youve got about 200+ that wont cut it! nice idea though. ;-)

I use this method as well, and have for long time but not in a vertical position for the clamps, I store them horizontally with the bar resting on the support. Works well for me. Mine looks about the same except I put a single screw in at the bottom.
A possible upgrade / add on can be a piece of Formica across the top. That will protect against the wear and tear of removing the clamps many times over the years.
