I made this one on commission for a friend and coworker. Walnut, Maple and Padauk. This was my first time using Padauk. I had a bit of a problem when finish sanding. The orange dust was coloring the Maple. I had to sand more carefully and use the shop vac while doing so. | |||||||

Yes, Padauk colors up light wood next to it when finishing. I do love the liveliness of the wood though.
