I had a space I needed to fill after I got a new stove. Since I can’t just go with something simple, I used some leftover stuff laying around the garage to whip this up. It’s walnut with an end grain walnut and maple cutting board.

That’s great. Nice work. I have little nooks and crannies like that in my house all over the place. I’m always thinking, it be nice to have a …. right there but it’s either an awkward size or I don’t want to buy any junk. You did a great job making some wasted space useful and you did it in style.

Great choice of wood and you can play chess in the kitchen. Beautiful job.
