While remodeling our bath I widened the archway separating the washer and dryer alcove so the appliance doors could open more easily. That gave me an odd sized opening. I used it as an excuse to play with my new reverse ogee router bit. Unfortunately, the bit is a too big for the existing base plate and, being impatient, I ran these without one, hence some of the unevenness. Next project will have a custom base plate. So, stained and varnished pine, assembled with a 6’ bifold door kit. The wrap around frame is doweled together. Going custom also alloed me to shave another inch of space on either side of the doors by making them from standard 1x.

Your doors look great! They’re a big improvement over the big box store stock doors. Your odd opening size turned out to be a blessing for you!

I know that they are a lot of work since it took me over 20 years to complete mine!
