A friend from our church asked me to build a plate rack so she could display her mother’s plates. It’s build from solid maple and painted to match her existing cabinets.
Her husband said after we installed it, “She keeps going into the kitchen and just stands there looking at it. I think she’s thrilled”.

I think that you have a very happy customer. That is also a very clever use of the otherwise unused side panel of the fridge surround.

Very nice work. Too bad the paint is the same shade as the plates. They get lost against the background.

Ditto on the good use of an otherwise useless wall space! I assume there is a groove in the shelves for the plate edges?
Fine work!

Thanks everyone! The paint color was the customers request to match the existing cabinets. Yes there is a groove in each shelf to hold the plates in place.
