Table with bench

For my daughter I made a table with a bench. It is made out of Hevea wood panels which were already glued out of small pieces. The panel size is 80×400x2,8cm.

All the joints are done with invisible connectors, who are normaly used as cot connectors. I used a water bassed coloring and a cellulose lacquer as a top layer.

THANKS FOR WATCHING.

That is a great design, minimal fasteners but looks very solid. I like the drawers under the table. (Why don’t we always do that?)

Beaut table and bench Jan along with that clever hidden fixing, top marks sir.
Downunder you’d score a roast dinner thank you from your daughter so I’m hoping your reward is good eating.

I like the clean lines of the set. Simple yet solid. I also like that it comes apart so nicely for packing. Well done.

Nice job Dutchy... about time you made something for the family instead of just playing with your toys...

Interesting coupling… Is that some sort of breakdown couplers.
I avoided the Domino for over 10 years until Fe$tool released their breakdown couplers for the 500 (Domino).

Nice.

Is that a piece of Wedgwood pink Jasperware in the drawer?

Now you’re getting international pottzy... Dutchland vs Swedenland... there’s gotta be some law against that… where’s the PC police… also, it’s hard to flush an allen key.

Wow, Love everything, but the bench seat with the seat cushions!! Great design!! Im just starting to do upholstery projects, and that look with them attached to seat bottoms sort of hovering over the wood would be awesome.

-- Im so impressed with what people can do, and I wonder how they do it. Thats what keeps me doing it.

Sorry I can’t tell you. It’s a plastic box. I never have heard about Jasperware.
