It’s been a while since I’ve posted any of my designs. This bench was conceptualized in 2006.
It’s been part of my line of seats ever since.
The back slats is a 2 piece steam bent laminated balayong wood. Crown is Saplungan, seat and arm rests are ipil. The base frame is ipil and legs are yakal. All dowels are raised and rounded for a more tactile feel of the piece. All Woods used are reclaimed as with all of my projects.

Nice to see another posting from you, Benji! It’s always fun to look in on your designs, and this bench is no different.

Benji, that is beautiful, super design. Love the flow of the bench, top notch build.

Your work is truly amazing. I really like the shape and subtle curves of the back rest.

Gorgeous!

I like the double saddle in the bench. Looks very comfortable.

I’m green with envy.
