my classmate and I all made end grain cutting boards. We all chose from a variety of wood including walnut, cherry mahogany, oak, and white birch. We all routered the top and cut handles. Thanks to Mr. Herrera for the help!

I commented on about half of the posts your classmates have made, and I have read all the comments for all the posts. You were the only one to thank your shop teacher, Mr. Herrera, for his guidance. I think that is great! So You get an extra special Well-Done!

The two of you have made a very nice board.

I hope you continue to make more stuff!

Good looking board, nice work. Mr. Herrera influence is something to treasure. Good design.

One more thing – I noticed that your board is getting slighty more views from the L.J.s than the others. I suspect it is because you have this interesting and unusual grain pattern going on in the center racing stripe.

Nice board. It IS refreshing to see such a positive comment about your shop teacher. We all know him to be a great resource to a lot of kids going through the program. Still nice when one of his kids realizes it too. :-)

Best of luck to you going forward in life.

Those are some good looking cutting boards. Your teacher is a great guy and he’s teaching you really well.

Have your say...
