This is a cutting board I made in shop class at Wahoo High School, we started off by cutting the different types of wood. My board is made of Walnut, Cherry, Mahogany, and Red Oak. We glued the boards together using a butt joint, then clamped them down to dry overnight. I used a planer to get it smooth on both sides, then I moved on to the router to round the edge and to put the handles on the side. I finished off with a mineral oil finish.

Youve got some real nice grain matches happening in this board. Super. Hugely thumbs up.

Accurate cuts, and a nice glue up will get you tight looking boards like that. Nice work.
