I made this cutting board in woods 2 class. The type of wood that I used was white birch, walnut, Mahogany, Red oak, and cherry. I used a router to cut in the handles and a drum sander to flatten the wood out. Also I used mineral oil at the end of the project.

Nice work. Now get some Mech-drawing and Architectural drawing under your belt, if you havent already, and your all set to make stuff that doesnt exist yet – which is always a positive contribution to the World.

Good luck.

Accurate cuts, and a nice glue up will get you tight looking boards like that. Nice work.

I always love how end grain patterns turn out. They never cease to amaze me, just like yours.
