I made this cutting board in my high school workshop. When making the pattern, I just flipped one board from one side to the other side. I used Mahogany, White Birch, Cherry, Walnut. We used a rotter for the edges and the handles. We finished it by covering it in mineral oil.

Yep, +2, something to be proud of. I am sure your Folks will be proud too. My Mom kept my first ever project and still has it, about 40 years later.

Accurate cuts, and a nice glue up will get you tight looking boards like that. Nice work.

Good job there. Almost looks like a checker board.
