I made this cutting board in woods class. I made my cutting board out of white birch, walnut, mahogany, red oak, and cherry. I made a random pattern. I used a router to round over the sides and edges and I used the router to cut in the handles. I used mineral oil to finish it off. | |||||||

That walnut has some super fine character, nice pattern too.

Accurate cuts, and a nice glue up will get you tight looking boards like that. Nice work.
