Wood burning station

This was a valentine’s present for my wife. She has recently picked up wood burning as a hobby and was in need of a place for everything. I have been batting around the idea of building a Gerstner tool box so I seen this as an opportunity for a trial run.

The box is built out of all hard maple with sliding dovetails. The drawer fronts are grain matched Guanacaste. Dont know much about that wood except that it is very soft and has a bad smell when milling it.

Hope you enjoy.

Jason,

That’s a really lovely present for your wife. I’m sure she was delighted with it. Make sure she shows some of her pyrography on here!
