On the first day of March 2020 our Grandson was murdered and it has taken this long for decisions to be made and for me to make urns for his ashes. I made 2 urns, one for our son and one for Adams sister.
Our son and granddaughter picked out the lumber, it’s padauk and I suggested cherry legs, it seems a good combination.
Our granddaughter wanted some purple in her’s because that was his favorite color so I laminated some purple heart in the top for her.
They are just a basic build, nothing elaborate with the exception of lions on the ends. Adam was an outstanding football player for the Minerva Lions football program.
The text and lion were done with a laser by a local company.

Thanks for looking and have a GREAT day !

Dick, they look great, a fitting memory to your grandson.

I cannot begin to imagine the difficulty this project and entire ordeal has put you and your family through. You all have my sincerest condolences.

It is interesting how easy words come, until you need the right ones. Your project turned out nice. I think Purple HEART is fitting for the loss of a loved one.

I am happy to see you making boxes, my Friend. I am not happy to hear of the circumstances that led you to it.

I hope Mrs. Byrd is doing better.

Perhaps, a a small aid for looking on the bright side>>>>>>>>>>>

I am very sorry for your family’s loss with the death of Adam, a very difficult time for all of you, and I’m sure the making of these urns has helped to ease some of the pain, in a small way.
The urns are beautiful tribute to your grandson, to be cherished by all those who loved him. God bless you and your family.

Bringing yourself to do this is more than putting you heart in a project. A beautiful memory for others to share.
Sorry for the family loss Dick.
