Hello,
I had a chance to have some fun in my workshop again and I finished a new toy/model car, based on the Chevrolet Bel Air.

Nice work on that 57, Jolien! That was one of my favorite cars that I had.

Cheers, Jim

You make such cool things. This is sweet.

You did a good job on the likeness of the ‘57. Great job. Mel

It is immediately recognizable to those of us that lived through the 50’s, Jolien,
I would suggest you give some angle to the windshield posts (on your next ‘57 Chevy.)
What is the wood? Sycamore, or Plane tree as it’s known in Europe?

-- You know, this site doesn't require woodworking skills, but you should know how to write.

Thanks for your feedback Phil! I’m happy that it is recognizable. I will not make another Chevy 57 haha, I’m always making only one piece of each car.
I used beech wood for the body, the wheels I don’t know

Jolien, I love it. At one time I had 7 of them. One restored, one race car and 5 parts cars
