Well I was walking through my shop yesterday and a piece of walnut jumped into my hands and said “make me into a charcuterie board”.
Well i couldn’t say no so here is the results.
The walnut board is from a walnut tree i stumbled across that a guy hand cut down 16 years ago. i cut it down to usable boards on my 14” bandsaw.
I don’t think i’ve seen the colors in a piece of walnut that this piece had in it.
I got 3 pickup loads of log pieces and 7 quarts of tung oil for 100.00
Man i love my walnut. board is finished with breadboard oil.

sorry about the picture being a quarter turn off. tried to fix but failed.

Love the walnut. Great use of the curved shape! I had troubles with photo orientation. Wrote a blog about my solution. Hope it helps. https://www.lumberjocks.com/FraidKnot/blog
