Got hold of this beautiful slab of maple and knew I wanted to make a table. It took forever to decide on the base. This is what I came up with.

Absolutely fabulous. It’s not just the beautiful slab that makes it special—your base design also has a lot to do with it. I’ve been struggling to come up with a base design for a nice piece of walnut crotch I have, and now I’m thinking that something similar to yours would be perfect.

Great design on the pedestal. It is as stylish as the top is. It looks fantastic.

The base is an excellent addition to the slab, which has some of most beautiful grain running through it. Excellent job. Mel
