Darling wife ask for a new dresser and bedside tables a while back (10?years ago) so I figured it’s time take it on. Project began December 4 wilth delivery mid January. Although I miss my Christmas target she was happy. Made of pocket wood joinery, poplar carcass, Cedar plank sweater cubby, red oak shellac rubbed top. Drawers needed to be extra wide so wood slides to save some space. Believe it or not the extra inch made a difference to her, so no self closing drawer slides. Tables followed same style with tapered legs. For a weekend DYIer I’m ok with results.

This is a nicely designed and built piece. That is no easy task getting flush faced drawers to fit that well—even gaps all around! Plus the top looks spiffy with the sheen. You must be proud of how that turned out —congrats!
