Here is a rocking chicken I made for my niece’s first birthday. I purchased the plans and templates for it from April Wilkerson web sight https://wilkerdos.com/product/rocker-templates/ I basically just flowed the plans on this one.
3/4” Birch plywood was used for all the main parts and I use a hardwood dowel for the handle bar.
Out of all the things I have made, toys will always be the most gratifying to me, especially when I get to see the children grinning from ear to ear!

Matt, Quite familiar with April and have seen these. Nicely done and I am right there with you about making something for the kids that is greatly received.
