Maloof style rocking chair in Claro Walnut with my Crown Jewell glass.
You can see better pictures on my web site at kappelusa.com
I have been making this style rocker for over 65 years shipping them all over the world and never had one returned.

Bill…it is always good to see your rockers. I came down to learn how to make a rocker from you a couple of years ago. Making the rocker is one of the highlights of my woodworking.

Another beauty. One of these days I am finally going to build one from the plans I bought from you a few years ago.

I have had questions from woodworker all over the world wondering if they could build the Maloof style rocker. If anyone has worked wood they can build this rocker. Following my instructions you just make one board at time. I give you a “time line” to follow like step 1,2,3, and so on with full detailed information and pictures to correspond with my “time Line” all of which makes it an easy, but a long project (about 200 hours for me). A little cutting, shaping and sanding presto it is finished.
No kitting if you are a woodworker you can do it. I made one for each of my four girls which has been a blessing for the whole family and one that with our great grand kids is now an heirloom in each of their families.
