The dove tails were made on a scroll saw. The corner splines are walnut, the sides cherry, and the top mahogany. The sides and top are 1/4” and the splines are cut using 3/4” stock. It came together like a puzzle.

Looks like one of those items that once it is somehow put together, it is never coming apart! Looks very well crafted!

Steve, this is great work. I like the concept and the details with all the interlocking dovetails on the corners. The glue up must have been particularly tricky. Just by way of sharing information, you might look here for some added ideas.
