This is a real mish-mash. I needed a little cargo box on my beach cruiser for beer and stuff…or food, whatever. Lots of scraps here…cherry sides, walnut fronts and maple highlights. I used my Incra jig for the double-through dovetails. They’re certainly not perfect, but I like the way they came out! I recessed the bottom into the sides with a rabbet, but on retrospect I would prefer to hide the bottom edge entirely. It takes away from the dovetails.
I powder coated some small hooks in a bronze color to blend them away a little, and finished the whole thing in lacquer and paste wax.
Secured it to the bike with some custom ground mental mounts, which I also powder coated because my ADHD wouldn’t let me leave them alone.

Nice Incra work. You’re the first double-double-dovetail I’ve ever seen in the wild. Excellent first attempt.

Great job R’G’... Neat dovetail, dovetail!
May I suggest buying a motor for that bike…

Nice project idea! I have the cargo net – I might need to borrow the box idea :)
