THIS HOLIDAY SEASON I FOUND A BEAUTIFUL SCRAP PIECE OF CHERRY. NEVER USING A FLAP DISC WHEEL ON A GRINDER I THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE IT A TRY. WITH MULTIPLE GRITS AND PRACTICE THE PIECE CAME OUT NICE WITH A FACE CREATED IN THE GRAIN. NICE PIECE FOR THE KIDS JEWELRY ON DRESSER I THOUGHT. NINE HEARTS LATER ALL THE GIRLS IN THE FAMILY WERE DONE FOR CHRISTMAS. I FELT IT LOOKED EXCEPTIBLE ON THE BENCH, BUT WHEN THE SPRAY LACQUER HIT THAT WOOD IT LEAPED OFF THE TABLE.

Looks like you took care and time with the flap disc, things things can get squirrely !
Fine shaping work and a nice wood/finish!
