Using a picture of a Mississippi Steamship Kit that was on Amazon or one of the sites, I was too cheap to layout the $300 to buy it, so I made the drawings in Aspire and used my Laser cutter to cutout all the parts for this model. The parts for stack were 3D printed but was also designed in Rhino. The base was a 2×6 that I laminated with some Edge Trim. The Cabin and Decks was from thin plywood sheathing. The railing was from a plastic sheet, but was still laser cut. Hope you enjoy.

That’s an impressive model! The laser sure did a good job with all hte detail.

You can’t beat a laser to cut a steamer down to size…

Hmmm, my laser would have made my 17 year boat build a tad easier.

Looks great! Also, it looks a lot like the stern wheelers that used to run the Columbia River in the NW.
