My first woodworking project in over 10 years (the construction in my shop does not count) and definitely since my accident almost seven years ago. Between my old eyes that need better magnifiers and serious lack of practice and hand eye coordination it turned out ok. It is a 1:7 dovetail template that slides for doing half blind or full blind dovetails. This was done entirely with hand tools only.

Nice work! I was in ministry as well until I had a spinal cord injury in 2015. I’m disabled but I’m still able to work in the shop a bit. Sounds like we have a lot in common. :)

Yes, praise God my spinal injury was not too severe. The nerve damage that causes bowel and bladder issues and chrinic pain are the worst part of my accident so I am very blessed. My prayers are with you and glad you can still work in the shop a bit.

Was He not a carpenter in his early adulthood, befor He got the call?
We do holy work when we turn our toolsto wood, my friends in the Lord.
