I made the top for this box from some dunnage (dangerous I know) picked up off the job. The handle was built previously and the vise was picked up almost at random earlier in the summer. It fits nicely under the saw once I raised it another 5/8 inch.

I don’t know exactly how I’m going to use it yet but it was satisfying to build.

Not a bad looking top, and sure can’t beat the price. You said dunage, is that framing lumber?

Dunnage is the wood strapped under a load to keep it off the ground. Imagine a bundle of long pipes with some 2×4s underneath so that you can get forklift forks or rigging underneath to transport it.
