Built as holiday gifts for when the paper tin or stapled pine box just isn’t enough, the bottle box is a scaled-down version of my flag/certificate case. Interior braces are added to grip the bottle at the neck and base and slide out of the way.
Small hinges are fitted to the doors, which are either latched or held with rare earth magnets. The top and bottom are fitted with matching handmade molding.
The Soju box got the last piece of figured walnut from my stash for the front panel.

This is a great project—I feel the urge to make one of these for myself—thanks for sharing it—Max

When I saw the Balvenie my mouth watered, the Caribbean Cask is my favorite! Box is pretty nice as well:)

Much nicer than the cardboard tube. It will last a lot longer as well.
