I received a mitersaw as a birthday present from my wife, so I was happy to use this present to build a mitersaw station. It is my first table build and I am really pleased how this turned out!

There’s nothing quite like getting a new tool for your shop, and a mitersaw is one of the more perfect gifts. Coupled w/ a new mitersaw station, it will do the job you need done, and there’s nothing better than having a good place to work the wood. Nice build, and it should last you for many years to come…..!!

That is nice, I am envious. Mine sits on a plain table with built-in workpiece support, and a bottom shelf. The shelf is a magical junk collector that repels anything useful. I really like the drawers, this inspires me.

That’s very nice and something on my build bucket list. Does the shelf slide in and out to accommodate the slide travel? That’s where I’m having trouble in my design.

Thank you folks, I’m happy you like it!

There is no need to make it slidable because it’s deep enough (80cm) to accomodate the full travel of the mitersaw.
