Built a hall bench for our mudroom. I started with an old church pew that I cut in half. One half of the pew I put the ends back on, while the other half I used for this project. The pew came from an old country church I renovated into a house about 15 years ago. Built it all from oak that I removed from the walls in one of the barns I have on my property. The barn used to be used for potatoes. The wood was really dry and splintered easy. I did leave a lot of nail holes, which I like. I did fill them with an epoxy before the stain. Stain is English Chestnut, as I was trying to match the shelf that was being installed above it. Thanks for looking.

Always nice to have a seat in the mudroom. Nice use of the church pew.
