Our Twin Granddaughters love to play school with there 18” American Girl Doll’s so I made them a flip chalkboard. One side has the chalkboard and the other side has a whiteboard. 12 1/2”H X 11” W Plans here

This should go well with the two girl doll desks made for them for Christmas.

More painted projects! I have Pottz to thank for the inspiration and I’m all in with painted stuff now. But I still hate to paint! LOL!

Happy New Year everyone!

Thanks BB1, I can’t seem to get away from paint! I even stopped at HD’s and picked up some of those cheep $1.28 paint bushes the other day. Funny you mentioned ” house addition” I’m looking at something like that now!

I hope doubleDD don’t see this or I’ll never hear the end of it. He calling me Picasso now! LOL!

Thank you Ivan!
I have too much paint left over so I got to come up with more stuff to make! LOL! I’m thinking about maybe a doll size picnic table or Adirondack chairs with a mini umbrella.

Good job Picasso. This one compliments the doll collection perfectly again. If they like to play school what else could be better to have. I remember as a kid writing all the time on a chalkboard (and a few walls too). The only thing better was throwing the erasers at each other. hahaha. I see this ones blue, did you make one in pink too?
I remember the teacher always having a pointer stick pointing at what we should read after she filled the board with crap to learn. Do you remember those?
Very nice work Tony.

Thanks Tony and Dave…. Dave What…. no spit balls or Sling shots? hahahha! I never threw an eraser at anyone but I did fling a few spit balls in science class while a frog dissection was going on!

No pink one.. But you and Tony got me thinking now because of something I forgot that my son Alan told me the other day. He said to me “I don’t wanted to use glue on the mortise and tendons when assembling the bunk beds because later when they are no longer being used I can pack them up and save them for when they have children someday”.
Love the way our son Alan thinks! ....Plus each bed on both bunk bed sets have added screws to hold the bed’s to the head and foot boards so they will stay together without glue.

So now you got me thinking who will get the blew Chalkboard later on? I guess I’ll be making a pink one now! Thanks guys you are the best! I’ll have to wait for warmer weather though it’s only 40 degrees in the shop!
Picasso!

Tony I guess you haven’t see my shop! Wall to wall covered with everything I own! No space for anything except for a few bug to land on!

I was brought up in Massachusetts and we both hated the cold so Florida was always our aim after retirement. Maybe we should have moved further south! LOL!

It was 33 here with a heavy frost covering everything when I woke up this morning! Our Moringa tree and bandanna plant are looking really sad. Later on in the week we will be back up to the 70’s for sure so a pink one will be in the mail to them soon! Chloe loves blue and Courtney loves pink! Maybe I’ll make the Adirondack chairs also and ship them out with the chalkboard.

Hey Tony,

Nice work and your customers will be happy. Paint is ok as it’s not fine furniture? LOL!
