It’s been a year since my last posted project so here’s to 2020.
Michael Cullen inspired design on these 2 boxes made with basswood and finished with milk paints.
I’ll never carve like Michael but I think they achieve the visual art status that these type of boxes are all about.
Merry Christmas to everyone on LJ and hopefully I’ll post a few more projects in 2021.

Beautiful carved boxes.
Very nice textures and the milk paint looks great.

Brilliant looking work. On the star box you were sawing instead of chiseling? I would love to watch your adding life to your boxes.

I wouldn’t sell yourself short. The boxes are beautiful and I actually thought Michael had joined Lumberjocks.
