I made this in class. it is made out of hickory. We bisccted the top and legs. Then we used water based polycrylic gloss as a finish. The top was all designed and cut on a cnc.

Your Step Stool Looks great. I remember making one when my oldest daughter had a pair of twins and I made a stool for them.

Looks good. Coloring in the letters makes a huge difference.
Well done.

Great work. I really like the top. When you look at the end-grain, the growth rings look continuous through the piece.
