I made a step stool out of hard maple wood. I made this my Woods 1 class at Wahoo High School. To connect the boards together I used pocket holes and biscuit joints. I also put a design on the top of my step stool using my school’s CNC router. I put my last name on the top using the Aspire program on the computers in the shop classroom. I used a v-carve on the top. I also carved the Tesla name and logo on the top. The finished we used was a water-based polycrylic gloss.

Your Step Stool Looks great. I remember making one when my oldest daughter had a pair of twins and I made a stool for them.

Be proud of your stool and welcome to the “World of Woodworking”. I’ve been doing it for about 60 years.

Great looking stepstool. I like the cleanness and simplicity of the grain in hard maple. Good job!

Very nice. However some more sanding was needed on the edges of the legs to even out the color.
