I made the step stool at Wahoo High School in Woods 1 class. I used African Mahogany for the material and for the CNC router, I put an Iowa Hawkeye logo on the top of the stepstool. For the CNC design, surrounding the logo is a cutout of the state of Iowa, and under the logo is Hawkeyes in a V-cut. To assemble it, we used a biscuit joint to connect the boards. To put the sides, top, and legs together, we used pocket holes. For the finish, we used a water-based Polycrylic Gloss.

Nice wood selection for the top. The chatoyance really pops! Great work!

Very nice stool. Good workmanship and finish. Made one myself in shop class 65 years or so ago, still around and used as will be yours. You should be proud of your work.

Very nice, however more sanding is needed on the ends to remove the router burn.
