Made this as a present for my daughter. It is white oak and QS white oak. I finished it with cherrywood gel stain and three coats of satin lacquer.

Thanks for the nice comments. It’s only about 10” tall, 13” wide and 8” deep. It probably would be easier to make a larger one. The ball catches on the door tops and hinge mortises were quite a challenge to hit “on the money”. They click and close tight. The plans were in Woodsmith magazine.

one of my favorite styles after g&g,you did a nice job on it.
